Aesthetics is changing now as people realise that the over-filled, frozen face is not the answer
Smooth, good quality skin alongside natural aging is what allows us to look and feel our best whatever age we are.
Our skin
is made up of 70-80% collagen. From about age 25 we start to lose this collagen at a rate of 1-1.5% per year, 10-15% per decade. Left unchecked, our skin will lose 50-75% of its collagen by age 75, more if we smoke, have excessive sun exposure or a poor diet.
As time passes
- our skin becomes thinner leading to lines and wrinkles
- the natural plumping of fat pads underneath our skin shrinks in some places and increases in others causing hollowing and sagging
- the bones in our face reduce in size which changes the shape and structure of our appearance

of facial aesthetics lies in having a thorough knowledge of facial anatomy and physiology, good quality training in aesthetic treatments, the use of only the highest quality products obtained from registered pharmacies, and in having the skill and dexterity to administer effective treatments precisely and comfortably.
This is exactly what I offer.
I have been a dental surgeon for over 30 years and first trained in facial aesthetics in 2013.
I find aesthetic treatments and outcomes extremely rewarding and attend many advanced training courses to keep up to date with the latest products and techniques.
My training and experience allows me to precisely, carefully and gently administer treatments so that they are both effective and safe.
My aim
is not to erase every sign of aging but simply to help people feel better when they look in the mirror, to give them more confidence so that they can feel happier and more positive about themselves.
Treatments
Anti-wrinkle treatments
employ the careful use of botulinum toxin (commonly known as Botox) to relax overactive muscles in specific areas. This eases the pull on the skin to produce softer, more subtle expression lines.
Skin boosting treatments
gradually but powerfully regenerate collagen and elastin in the skin leading to thicker, more radiant skin with less lines and wrinkles.
Profhilo is commonly referred to as an 'internal moisturiser'
Sunekos helps promote collagen and elastin in a gentle, effective way
Hyperdilute Radiesse is a powerful biostimulator provoking collagen regeneration
Dermal fillers
- when used sparingly and strategically, this plumping hyaluronic acid gel can be used to subtly replace some of the lost volume and achieve a smoother appearance.
